Kia Ora Whānau,
My name is Jisun Hutchison. I am originally from South Korea and have lived here since 2003. I have been teaching children since 2009 and was a head teacher for over 10 years.
My passion towards children is learning from each other while building relationships with others. I think developing the children’s dispositions (playfulness, perseverance, curiosity, courage, trust, and confidence) is vital for their learning and development.
It is a privilege for me to be in Early Childhood Education as I get to share the children’s precious childhood moments as part of their learning journey.
I look forward to learning with the children.
